The latest phrase my kids have brought home (from school? from social media?) that drives me bonkers is “it’s not that deep”. i.e.
Me: “Why’d I have to ask you 4 times to get your clothes out of the dryer?” Them: “Dad… don’t get so upset. It’s not that deep.” (with an eyeroll)
