Apple Notes rumored to get Markdown support - I was just reevaluating using Notes for writing and this was a major stopping point for me. Would be interesting to see Apple add a power user feature like Markdown to Notes.
We’ve got a Gamepass trial right now on our Xbox, and I can’t recommend Hi-Fi Rush enough for a fun, musical beat-lite game that doesn’t have a ton of puzzles to keep track of so it’s easy to drop in and drop out of.
Figuring out that I can view a Reminders list in columns completely changes how useful the app is for me. I’m going to try it out for a week and see how it goes.
I need to do my monthly invoicing so naturally I’m trying out different methods of tracking to do’s in Notion.
Watching the Andor finale. Finally. I’ve told my family to expect a Rogue One rewatch and then an episode 4-6 rewatch as well. 😝
I’ve never listened to a full episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast. But he somehow got 3 hours of Bono’s time so now I might have to?. 😂
My puppy has become obsessed with licking and pulling at the fur in his front two paws. He’s not bleeding or anything, but he gets angry if we try to look when he’s licking.
We’ll take him to the vet if it continues, but anything we can check for at home?
Whew Jensen McRae’s voice is incredible. (TikTok link)
The person (his father) I talked to the least in life is the person I talked the most about in this stage performance.
Great to see Chris Coyier try out streaming:
The point is, mostly, for me to play with CodePen’s 2.0 editor and just make stuff.
Manuel Moreale said it better than I did: The Browser Company, creator of the now almost dead Arc browser, pivoting to AI isn’t any more interesting than every other company that tacks on AI to their product.
On Thursday I’m going to be chatting with Binary Digit about streaming, Discord, and community around Twitch and things. Starting at noon Eastern time (if I have my timezones right 😆) on my Twitch channel.
Which came first: Motion or Notion? I know Motion, the Apple video app, came way before both. But now in 2025 there’s a productivity app called Motion as well. I feel like they should be sued by Apple AND Notion for infringing on naming their software too close, but I’m not a lawyer.

The $200 I paid for Logic Pro 15 years ago continues to be one of the best business expenses I’ve made: Apple updates Logic Pro.
Possible controversial hot take: I think Andor is a pretty great series, possibly even if you don’t know Star Wars.
I binged S2 e7-9 last night and only stopped e10 when I realized there was 12 episodes, not 10.
