I don’t know how a modern city + a modern app developer would end up with a parking system app that looks like the one Saskatoon is now using. Using it is like stepping back 8 years on mobile app development - which feels like 20 normal years.

I enjoy reading @benthompson’s optimism for VR tech’s future, I just wish it wasn’t the soul sucking Facebook that was behind it who, based on experience, will prioritize profit over people.
