What’s actually absurd is that you can totally have this done right now, you just have to pay a human to do it. Man… that’s so frustrating! People are the worst!

Tweet from a tech bro reading: “Absurd that any podcast episodes I record aren't automatically transcribed, show-noted, chaptered, given custom episode art, chopped into shorts, and posted everywhere.”

I only catch their show via random tiktok clips, but why did this New Heights podcast segment send me into a emotional spiral of wondering what it’d be like to have a brother to walk through life with?

It’s the dream of every podcaster around the world.

Headline from a news site reading “Popular podcast host quits day job - Jason Kelce earned six first-team All-Pro selections in 13 seasons with the Eagles.” talking about Jason Kelce retiring from football but getting to continue the podcast with his brother called New Heights.

If this is the year you’re going to add video to your podcast, check out this great guide to using iPhones to record great video—even remotely. Detail is a neat iOS app to check out.

Not directed at any client or podcast I’m working on of course! But… the longer a podcast goes on, the closer it gets to becoming this.

“This is the year of video in podcasting” might actually finally be true for 2024. More and more of my clients are asking for video - snippets at least - than ever have before. Full video shows often fizzle out when the time / $ start to add up, but maybe it’ll be different this year?

🍋 It’s late Friday afternoon somewhere, so here’s a reminder of the weekly newsletter I send out. The most recent issue just went to inboxes but you can check it out and decide if it’s worth signing up for.

Instead of sending my newsletter on Friday like usual, I sent it on Saturday morning just like I totally planned to do. Here’s this week’s issue if you’re curious, or want to sign up. 🍋🎉

Can I get a Logic Pro Wrapped 2023 because that would show all the podcast episodes I’ve listened / edited? 😆
