Don’t mistake hurt or anger about injustice and lies for bitterness. We spent a day or two in bitterness, but washed it off easily enough. Fighting for the truth to come out, speaking against injustice? If you actually know us, that’s part of our character - how God made us.

Editing a client’s episode talking about “emotional safety in the workplace”, and it’s so jarring to hear people speak with maturity about a topic that seems to basic to human rights, and yet so many leaders are horrible at it and seem threatened by the idea.

It’s day three and still no sign of the lid for the coffee grinder container that my daughter “put away somewhere”. We’ve had to use plastic wrap - like animals! - just to grind our coffee.
Pixelmator Pro continues to be among the best app purchases I made years ago - v3.0 adds templates, document colors, and social media presets.

We were playing some music on my record player just the other day, and my kids were asking about how a record player actually works. As usual, @kottke.org is on it already.
Logic Pro is an amazing app for editing podcasts, but the fact that it’s loop library doesn’t have a good AirHorn FX audio clip is a travesty.
The question being asked: “Why was this specific person chosen over other people when you have to make cuts and layoffs?”
Church elders: “Hey watcha so upset about layoffs for? It happens all the time? Get used to it kid! I’m in business. I lay people off all the time.”
I love having a video recording of my consulting or potential client calls. Fire up a Riverside studio and meet a client there, take notes in Notion, and then I can embed the unlisted video from YouTube right inside a Notion document and send them everything. 🧑🍳💋
