Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, 2003 - ★★★
Watched on Friday January 28, 2022.
This whole -40C in the morning with a high of 0 later which actually turns out to be 11pm is the worst.

Anxiously counting down the hours until we eat some pizza for supper, and then I fall asleep on the couch while watching a movie as a family.
I have yet to find an accountant for my business that understands what Stripe is. I’m trying to support local, but all the local small business accounts seem to understand is “Saskatchewan PST related issues”.
I’m exporting an hour long 1080p video, transcoding a different 720p video, and editing a podcast all at the same time - and I’m still whining about why it isn’t going faster? :)
This is the first time this winter that the big snowfall / blowing snow didn’t end up on our driveway. I was all set for another -30C shovel time, but just had to dust off the front step a bit. One point for not having bought a snowblower I guess? ;)
Starting up new client projects is always way more overwhelming in my head than in reality. I wish I could trick my brain into skipping ahead 2-3 weeks when we’re locked in and it’s rolling along - but so far, I haven’t been able to fool myself. 😂
We took down our Xmas directions as our family seems to be coming out of COVID. Feels like a fresh start for 2022 - 2 weeks after everyone else.
We’ve been playing a lot of Song Pop Party on Apple Arcade because it works so well for multiplayer. Even integrates with Game Center for invites like it’s 2015.
Just when I think I’ve got something all figured out in Final Cut Pro, it goes and breaks my brain about whatever convention I thought should work. Crop & Feather two videos the same amount, and somehow they’re different sizes after? 😭
Resisting the dad urge to go and buy a snowblower so I can clear driveways and sidewalks on our street.
One thing Wordle has taught me is how few 5 letter words I actually know once you get rid of pluralized words.
“Make TVs TVs Again” Amen.

I know it’s a cliche to complain about how big video games are and how long it takes just to be able to play them… but over 100GB of data just to drive a car around? Really? 😆

Did a ton of people get Wingspan for Xmas? Seems like I’m hearing about it a bunch on social media and IRL.
