They’re practically giving away…. something over on tiktok? 😝 5?!

A smartphone screen displays notifications from TikTok about earning through videos, going viral with new music, and the availability of LIVE Studio.

Josh Collinsworth has a great take on the whole #WordPress / Matt Mullenweg / WP Engine mess… with a conclusion I 100% agree with. joshcollinsworth.com/blog/fire…

With Chartable, a podcast analytics app, being shut down by Spotify after they acquired it 2 years ago (who saw that coming??), Dan at Bumper has some good options for what should you use instead..

Would you believe that 2 weeks in to puppy ownership, my kids are shocked that they have to help take care of said puppy? Who could have seen this coming??? 😆

Neville Dogbottom naps with his head on a mic stand in my office.

WordPress Vs. WP Engine? It Doesn’t Matter. It’s Bad For The Internet. #WordPress shouldn’t be in the news this much.

I can’t wait to tell my kids when our family is post-economic. 🤡 #WordPress

Screnshoot of a Slack converesation between Matt Mullenweg and Lawrence and Alex:@matt - this was asked on X: is all this driven by an increasingly difficult financial position&10;Automattic is finding itself in?&10;Matt 8:20 PM&10;Mb Nope, Automattic is in an amazing financial position&10;1&10;and l've been post-economic for probably 19 years now, l've made more than I could ever spend in my lifetime. That's why I give so much away&10;Alex Standiford → 8:21 PM&10;Literally nobody cares about that Matt&10;We're over here trying to protect our integrity and our clients and you're talking about A8Cs&10;finance.

I’m not really ready to process that it’s the 20th anniversary of #U2’s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb release.

I should clarify that the #WordPress situation is bad in the big picture sense of the word.. but not like “nazi” big picture. More like “bad business dbag” picture. So don’t panic if you’ve got WordPress sites. Even if you’re on WP Engine hosting, you’ll be ok.

One perk of having a puppy is that you get to use the phrase “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” a lot more.

Good lord what a way to poop on a huge part of the #WordPress ecoysystem. Matt Mullenweg’s truly gone off the deep end with this. No more WordPress for me after 15? years.
