One of the best parts about Brad Frost’s write up of how he put together a crazy idea for a talk at Beyond Tellerand is that at pretty much no point does he think “I should just ask Claude or ChatGPT”. Instead he reaches out to other creative humans for help in building out his vision.
If you host a podcast and spend the time your guest(s) are speaking planning how to steer the conversation back to your own experiences instead of actively listening, you are failing your audience. Ask follow up questions. Be curious. You’re the voice for the listeners, not yourself.
