@manton I sometimes forget you read these. :) Sorry for any implication that you weren’t trying hard to not make that the case. It’s more being spoiled by massive infrastructure / servers at a co. like Twitter or Threads that have ruined it. I need to remember what dial-up was like. 😆

@heyloura Yeah my kids complain that I’ve ruined the AppleTV screensaver that kicks in because it’s now 70% selfies of me. 😆

@manton That is Canadian pricing I posted about - we get a 50% markup over the USD pricing. Straight exchange on it should be closer to $2,800 so it’s not all that far off. It does still feel crazy considering what you can get for a full Mac.

@mroutley Yeah exactly. And for now, Kobo feels like a good company. I may regret “owning” ebooks on it some day if they chase $$ over their users I guess.
