I’ve already used the iPhone call screening feature in iOS 26 a few times, and it’s amazing. One obvious spam caller was very annoyed with it and said their name was “You could just pick up and talk to me like a normal human.” 😆 Nope. #Apple

It’s telling that a lot of the AI “help you edit your video / podcast” tools have no idea what to do with human laughter. They sometimes mute it or amplify it in weird ways. Or cut it off awkwardly. Sometimes they leave it alone entirely. But rarely do they get it right in my experience.
Awkward “fear” unlocked: leave Neville tied up outside while I go in and get a coffee. I can do hard things. 😤

I want to believe AI slop is just harmless goofs, and while it’s early days on OpenAI’s Sora social app, I agree with JA Westenberg: If You Let Your Kid Use Sora, You’re A Bad Parent.

My number one tip for anyone starting a podcast: Remember to unmute your mic before you start recording.
Instead of delighting in the creativity of humans, let’s all stare at AI slop mixed with AI slop advertisements.
I love #Letterboxd for following movies, but knowing this soulless ghoul profits from the use of it makes me want to drop it.
