“It’s cold enough I bet you could freeze some water out there.” is not something we ever say around here.

My throat is a little sore tonight which I’m sure is unrelated to the sickness three people in my family had over the last week.
What are the odds I’d get sick too? 🤷♂️ 😢
One of those times when reading to one of my kids before bed and the book is so good I don’t realize they’ve fallen asleep.
Have to re-read the last chapter tomorrow night I guess.

Caught a WHL hockey game tonight (Saskatoon Blades beat the Regina Pats). The main attraction at any hockey game is actually the food, of course. The poutine didn’t disappoint. 😋

I complain about going to my kid’s hockey games, but I actually do enjoy (most of) it. I’m glad he’s on a team that takes a chill approach to winning or losing, but still wants to play well and get better. Which makes the community of parents fun to be around as well.
It’s still dang cold sometimes.
Cool - the developer of Balatro is from my province, Saskatchewan, here in Canada. And the game only exists thanks to the harsh prairie winters we get. 😆

Alright winter that’s quite enough snow for the season. I’m going to have to start storing it in my garage pretty soon.
If you’ve ever watched (or heard) Jason Lengstorf, you know what this sound is. 😉 He’s got the best, most infectious laugh in tech.

The way the USA is destroying decades of good will around the world by letting Musk / Trump destroy USAID is mind boggling. You can debate how much aid the USA gives to other countries, but just destroying it overnight is cruel, inhumane, and vile.
