By using this little bit of automation on my iPhone to automatically open Threads when I start Twitter, I end up being annoyed at both Twitter and Threads in the same go and shut them both down.

Interesting. 37Signals, a company that made a bazillion dollars off subscription app services (SaaS), is now saying that’s going away for a lot of apps and that we’re going back to owning our software again. I think the monthly revenue model works too well to bet against it. I’m skeptical.

Once again tempted to sign up for an omg.lol address for no good reason other than it’s fun. I already have plenty of domains and hosting options. And yet…

One reason I’ve found Arc (or other browsers) to be quicker than Safari is a search in Safari seems to trigger external hard drives spinning up for some reason? Not 100% of the time, but often on first load. I can’t explain it other than maybe Spotlight something something?
