Related to the annoying lights on every electronic thing—the Eero 6+ pucks have a setting for each one that lets you decide if you want the status light on or not. It’s also interesting to see which devices connect to which puck in your house, it’s not always the nearest puck.
Every review of a bedside charging brick should state whether it has a light on it that can’t be turned off. If it does, the review should just read “nope”.

I love that Buttondown lets you set a canonical URL for each newsletter you send out, that way you can have a blog post at your website with the same (or similar) content that gets the traffic when subscribers click for a web version.
If Twitter thinks paying $1 will deter bot makers on Twitter, clearly they’ve never been to a concert where someone’s paid over $300 to get so drunk they can’t remember where they are only to get thrown out after three songs.
I’m listening to music (random #U2 if you must know or haven’t guessed already) but I have to turn it off to edit podcasts.
Sadly I still haven’t mastered listening to something in one ear, and something entirely different in the other ear. 😵💫
Somehow the 2nd gen AirPort Express I bought back in ~2012 continues to work and stream music to my stereo. I keep waiting for the update that breaks it, and I have to go buy a new AirPlay supported amp.
I think it’s my oldest + still in use Apple product.
U2’s version of So Cruel from The Sphere is a beautiful example of the harmonies Bono and Edge have perfected over the 32 (!) years since Achtung Baby’s release.
Might have to upgrade to macOS Sonoma just so Reminders can sync the auto-sorted grocery lists. I look forward to when you can specify which grocery store you’re in and have it add aisles and directions. 😆
