Was I happy to spend 20 minutes diving down the rabbit hole of hurdy-gurdy covers this morning? Absolutely yes.
Podcast tip: If you want people to listen to your podcast, have some sort of subscribe page so people can subscribe to your podcast. If you don’t want listeners, by all means, just put up a blog post with a podcast player embed and revel in the massive “listens to podcast on a web page” audience.

A reminder that Apple’s online store has a refurbished section where you can save money on hardware that comes with a 1 year warranty and is like new.

The fact that Apple is releasing Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad now bodes really well for the iPad as a platform. I can’t imagine they’d do the work to release those apps and not support it.

Dryer randomly started smoking. Luckily we caught it in time before it got worse.

A cool thing I discovered is that the audio repair tool I use has a bug where if the hard drive runs out of space, it just repairs part of the file without telling me anything was wrong. So guess who’s spent hours “fixing” audio files when I should have been cleaning up hard drive space?
It really is magical when I can speak into the Watch on my wrist and music will start playing on my van’s speakers via bluetooth from my iPhone. But when it falls over, it really falls over. The album is in my top 10 played for the year, and I still can’t find what I’m looking for?
