I don’t think it’s healthy for me (or society in general) to know that people stop watching a video of me talking after 2 seconds. 😆

I should stick to podcasting where there’s way less analytics available to punish my ego with.

Analytics on a tiktok video posted to my account that says “Most viewers stopped watching at 0:02. Play the video below to see when they lost interest.”

I remain undefeated in setting up ways to contact me about my podcast editing work, and then never checking in to see if anyone has contacted me.

This time it was my 🍋 biz’s Facebook page I think? 🤦‍♂️

Why is RSS not an option for importing content from one blog CMS to another? It has every detail you need for content of blog posts and yet it’s rare for a CMS to offer that as an import option.

In podcasting, that’s the default option for how to move your podcast to another podcast host.

One fun aspect of podcast editing as a solo business is when you find out a client has moved on because you see a new episode pop up in their feed that you didn’t work on.

I love using a combo of Discord’s Threads feature + Notion to manage episodes of podcasts I work on for clients. I just wish all my clients loved using Discord + Notion as much as I do. ☺️

I’m too much of a people pleaser to require it.

Don’t despair if you’ve wrapped your identity around a dude on a podcast.

Whether it’s a “hit piece” or not, I promise you there’s a hundred more Huberman clones waiting in the wings to take your time, attention, and money away from your family and friends.
