Or maybe they’ll just change the name to Strike Force Four to avoid talking about anything serious.

I should know by now not to grab a bowl of chips to snack on while editing my client’s podcast who’s a fitness and wellness educator / coach. Not that she’d shame me for snacking. I just always seem to be pouring the crumbs down my throat as she says something about “…the snacks add up.” šŸ˜†

I love when a podcast client says in their recording to me, as if I’m in the booth with them, “Oh shoot Chris… what did I just say? Oh make it sound normal, ok?” šŸ˜†

Editors love editing challenges. šŸ’Ŗ

I can’t read the full article, but Bloomberg has leaked that Descript is buying Squadcast. Descript is a transcription / screencast / editing app, Squadcast is for recording and live streaming podcast conversations. Interesting acquisition.

I feel like this example Chris Coyier blogged about trying to find a moment in a podcast he’d listened to could be the more interesting angle for AI / transcription tools to go after: podcast power users who want to find stuff in things they’ve listened to.

Congrats on a new job - possibly in DevRel. Now please get yourself a good microphone for the podcasts you’re going to be a guest on.
