Instagram is tracking about 2.5 weeks behind TikTok based on when I see a video on TikTok vs when my extended family shares it from Instagram to the group chat.

I never understood why fights break out with parents at a hockey game until tonight when I heard a hockey mom shouting “turn and burn!” at her kid for 3 straight periods.
I spend a lot of mental energy worrying about whether I should be helping AI editing tools like Descript come take my business and livelihood. I try to be rational about it, but it’s a very real fear my night brain likes to remind me of.
