Noah Kahan’s Homesick is the winter anthem for Saskatoon, 2024:
“The weather ain’t been bad, If you’re into masochistic bullshit”
Die Hard is a sequel to Love Actually where Emma Thompson hired Bruce Willis to hunt down Alan Rickman but make it look like Rickman is part of a terrorist plot… is a thing I learned via TikTok.
Somebody is upset that I won’t let him bark at people who have the audacity to go out their own front doors and get in and out of their vehicles.

Growing Sideways by Noah Kahan is absolutely a Christmas song:
“And I divvied up my anger into thirty separate parts Keep the bad shit in my liver and the rest around my heart I’m still angry at my parents for what their parents did to them But it’s a start.” - Let’s open the stockings!

While searching for Xmas gift ideas, I stumbled on this Reddit thread with the best reviews of the Nintendo Switch Pro controller.
It should be illegal to schedule a U15 hockey practice for 9:15pm on a Friday night. Who is personally out to get me at Saskatoon Minor Hockey? 😆
It’s wild talking to my dad about how he got clients for financial services over his career vs how I get clients for my podcast editing business. “I met this guy from BC, Justin Jackson, because he listened to a podcast I did 10 years ago… he recommended me to a fitness guru in Utah.”
It’s so funny how a dog is basically speed running having a kid. Neville Dogbottom is ~5 months but now going through the puberty stage where his bark has dropped from a yippy tiny puppy to a deeper dog growl at times. And occasionally it cracks back to yips.
This is my must hear during the holidays song. The Edge’s jingle jangley outro makes me feel like I’m heading to the shops in Dublin for Xmas shopping and then meeting some friends at a pub for a pint.
It’s Wednesday but somehow feels like both a Monday and a Friday. I’ve seen multiple people reference this feeling today - is it the sudden change in temps over the last couple of days? Are there people in warmer climates who also are feeling weird Wednesday vibes?
Hey freelancers / sole proprietors / small biz owners (aka me!) - this is your monthly reminder that as much as you might be stressed about doing invoicing and think it’s going to take forever, it’s how you get paid.
I know it’s silly to need a reminder about this. My brain is dumb sometimes.
Somebody is pouting because somebody wouldn’t stop nipping at guests here for a meeting so somebody is stuck listening to the conversation with me in my office.
