Did this feel different if you watched it before Trump 2.0 took office? Because seeing the President put behind bars for having a temper tantrum was kind of nice.
I remember joking before our last trip to the USA in the fall of 2024 saying “better do it now before Trump”, not realizing how true it was going to be.
Stories like the Canadian detained by ICE for two weeks are going to have long term effects decisions to not travel to the USA.

I went out for drinks with a friend and we talked about how, as 40 something year old dads, we don’t really have any friends. And somehow we managed to not blame women, “the kids”, our masculinity being taken away, or a political party for it.

Someday I need to add up how many people actually listen (or are subscribed) to all the various podcasts I edit for clients each week. I think it would actually freak me out to know how big the number is. 😆
There’s a lot of software I use (coughs in Notion’s direction) where I feel like they could charge extra for no AI and I’d pay it. Plus they’d make more money not having to pay for AI usage. Win win.
